Plans For Summer Board 

Overall  supporting and advancing initiatives the Summer Committee is interested in pursuing

Personal Interests 
- Helping appoint a third alumni representative to the board over the summer 
- Alumni association x Summer board retreat
- Working with other external partners (Alumni, Campus, NASCO, and other Nonprofits)
- Establishing a Open Co-op Committee
- Establishing Vice Chairs for all Committees
- Working on a Strategic Plan 
- Working with houses and student managers to identify operational issues and improve communication between central level and units

Making it easier for students to find, join, and navigate co-op life with clearer information on availability, costs, and what to expect as a member.

Housing That Serves Everyone

Improving responsiveness, access to resources, and the day-to-day experience for members living in a BSC houses.

Working Collaboratively

 As a board member I would try to participate in a way where every perspective is welcomed and no voice gets left behind. Create space for open dialogue, facilitate productive discussion, and make sure decisions reflect the full range of member input  not just the loudest voices in the room.
Ensuring there is a good liaison with our external partners (bsc alumni association, afro task force, campus)

Previous Accomplishments

- Co-wrote over 20 proposals for reforms 

Co-wrote Afro House reinvestment proposal revitalizing Afro House with broad student support and support from campus leadership.

-  A significant portion of my impact also came through sustained involvement in committee discussions, where my contributions helped shape, amend, and advance motions that are not fully reflected in the proposals listed below.
